KOI

We import our koi from Niigata Japan.  We have a relationship with a select group of koi breeders that we have used over the past 20years.  Our koi must go through the strict Japanese Governments inspection process.  Our koi receive the Governments Health Certificate.  Upon arrival to our store we inspect every koi and place them in an additional 30 days of quarantine to make sure all koi are healthy.  When a customer comes to our store, we take the time to explain the variety and point out those features that display a quality fish (i.e.,variety with body shape, pattern, design, color).     Koi variety names and photos.

FILTERS

The Aquadyne Bead Filter is the only bead filter we carry.  Over the past 10 years we have carried and tried many different brands of filters.  We have found that Aquadyne is one of the best bead filters on American market.  We did not try all the filters on the market, but we did try 4 to 5 different brands. This filter can keep you pond water very, very clean, and is very easy to back wash.

PUMPS

Just like with the filters, after we carried and used different brands pumps on the market, PreformancePro pumps are the only external pump we carry now.  These pumps are not only high efficiency, low AMP, but also very, very quiet and have a 3 years warranty.

UV

Aqua Ultraviolet been the 25 year leader in UV innovation.  Helps control fish disease and kills bacteria protozoa.  Aqua UV’s has the longest industry lamp life.  We only carry Aqua Ultraviolet lights, replacement lamps and transformers.

KOI FOOD

Atlanta Koi and Pond carries OSI Premium Koi food.  We like the vacuum sealed packaging and high quality food.  OSI brand provides year round varieties.  The food is fresh, high protein value, and provides for great growth. 

WATER TEST KITS

We stock the Pond Care line of pond water test kits. 

KOI MEDICINES

We stock a variety of high quality treatment chemicals such as :  Aqua Medzyme, Medi-Koi, Terminate, and Aqua Prazi.  Please contact us for the appropriate chemical.
